New sensor P2 activated for the first time yesterday, battery on medium, real? Bug?

Where did you buy it? Is the battery the one it came with? It’s possible the battery has depleted with it’s time on a warehouse shelf.

Purchased from an authorized distributor in my country.
Aqara support says that when the P2 sensor is mounted on a metal surface , it will result in increased battery power consumption. For this reason, such an installation method is not supported.
Update: After several tests including battery replacement, the device was replaced with a new one by the local distributor.
The battery now show Full.
There is no doubt that the device was defective.
