I’m experiencing an issue with my Door & Window Sensor connected to the Hub M3.
Every day, the sensor gets removed from the system on its own. I reset it, add it again, and after some time it gets removed again.
I’ve already tried the following:
- Replaced the battery with a new one
- Restored the sensor to factory settings multiple times
- Re-added it to the hub several times
Additionally, I’ve noticed that the sensor blinks from time to time while connected.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows what might be causing this?

Hello, welcome to the forum.
If the sensor is new, write to the support service and change it under warranty.
If you have been using the sensor for a long time, then the sensor reset button is stuck (broken), then this will be a permanent sensor removal. I had this happen in three temperature sensors. I removed the reset button (broke it), and after closing the contacts where the button was three times, I re-attached the sensor. It has been working without failures for more than a year.

I’ve had mine for years and have never had this happen. my guess is the sensor is the issue and needs to be replaced
