In September 2025, we bought the Aqara doorbell G4 via the Dutch Apple website, and until one week ago, it worked fine.
Now, the chime stopped working. The blue light is out. Reset was not possible. Connecting to a new USB-C charger did not work: the light briefly burns yellow, then briefly faintly blue, then dims.
Apple says I need to contact Aqara for warranty; can you help me get in touch with them or advise me how to get the chime working again?

I believe I’m experiencing issues with the chime as well. My G4 has been functioning flawlessly for over a year, but today it unexpectedly disconnected permanently. I attempted to power cycle the device/chime, but it didn’t work… The chime is unable to establish a connection to the Wi-Fi network as usual. I will try resetting the chime to see if it resolves the issue ![]()
I resolved the issue by changing the power cable (usbC) connected to the chime. After that, everything worked again.

Really sounds like the chime unit is out of order already…but if you’re still in warranty you sure get immediately a replacement by Aqara support
