Doorbell G410 doesn't detect + batteries drained after few days

Hello, I have very annoying problem with my doorbell G410.

Around a month ago it was mounted on the wall, using batteries, everything fine - face detection, people detection, maybe 3/4 times per day activated. Then the batteries were almost dead (after a month), so we exchanged them for brand new Duracell and since then detection doesn’t work at all.

We tried it many times, changing setting, restarting device, even unpairing and pairing again and still nothing. Battery level after 2 days is 40%! The doorbell reacts to ringing normally, then it also records video etc.

Obviously it is a device problem, but that left me wondering is it even worth repairing/replacing? Does every device work the same way? If I’d have to have this problem every month (or every few days with current battery draining) then I am gonna lose my mind.
