I may be missing something but is there a quick way to mute notifications in the app for a time? Have a G400 doorbell and when some friends were over one took a phone call out front and was pacing. I was getting notifications about every ten seconds for an hour it was a bit overwhelming lol. It would be nice if there was a “mute notifications for 30 minutes” option somewhere.
I’m absolutely in favor of that! Same with the Aqara G410 doorbell. I’d love to create an automation that, when the door contact is triggered (i.e. when I or someone else leaves the apartment), turns off the doorbell’s detection/notifications and turns them back on after a delay. I think that would even save battery life. But unfortunately there’s no suitable action for that.
@Aqara_PM_Donie Would that be possible?
That option is available in the Home App and the Aqara App. Swipe left on your Home Screen (the notification) select options and mute for 1-hour or the entire day.
if I understand your question correctly?
That would turn off all notifications from the Aqara app though. You might still want to receive other notifications. On top of that, you’d still end up with some unnecessary recordings. It would be better if you could briefly turn off the camera, or even better, the specific AI detection, which would then prevent the video recordings and the specific notifications. But if you want to mute all Aqara app notifications, that’s a good tip.
That’s a good point, I was using it so often I decided to add a “Kill Switch” so I can silence everything with one tap.
Those type of activities happen more often than you think.
