Doorbell will not configure

I cant get past configure part, spent hours trying. No technical support. :sob:

Do you mean you can’t connect the G4?

There are two suggestions that you can try

Suggestion 1:

  1. Completely delete the Aqara Home app (clear any data).
  2. Remove the hub from the Home app (iOS) and clear any remaining gray icons with an exclamation mark.
  3. Restart your iPhone or Android phone.
  4. Reinstall the Aqara Home app and try again.

Suggestion 2:

If the first suggestion fails, try the following:

  1. Use one phone to set up a Personal Hotspot (ensure this phone is only connected to 4G Cellular).
  • Go to Settings > Cellular or Settings > Personal Hotspot.
  1. Use another phone to connect to this Personal Hotspot and then try to connect the Hub.
    If the suggestion 2 works, which means there is something wrong with your Wifi, check if the 5Ghz or firewall in router settings was disable

If these steps don’t help, I think you can try to contact Aqara customer

Hello, i installed a 2.5 wifi. Made a password with no special characters. Nothing

I downloaded the app on my wifes phone and tried. Nothing

I tried to use the hotspot on my phone. Nothing

Tried the Hotspot on my son’s phone and nothing.

When i did the lock and the hub they would not configure over wifi also. But they had the option of doing it over Bluetooth. That worked. The doorbell does not have Bluetooth? This is really disappointing. Idid the research for months. Really wanted to turn my home into a Aqara home with sensors and lights to come.

Unfortunately, the doorbell does not work via Bluetooth and you will not be able to add it via BT.

Tried, didnt work. I’m really disappointed. The app does not scan any of the barcodes. It asks for pins. I dont have any. I connect configure any of the products with wifi. I tried the home wifi at 5 and 2.5. Tried my cell hotspot. Tried my wifes phone. Tried my sons hotspot. Only Bluetooth. When i try to upload photos or video it does nothing except remove my keyboard. I usually dont have this much trouble with technology. Uhgg
