Hello, Can tell me if I must have a Hub in order for the doorbell sound to work thru my HomePod?

Aqara door locks don’t require a hub to operate; they operate over Wi-Fi. You can use the doorbell sound on your Homepod, which can be configured by adding a doorbell to Homekit.

Thank you for the feedback and this is what I thought as well. But let me ask, do I need to have the included doorbell chime plugged in for the doorbell sound to work via my HomePod? Currently it is not working, but perhaps I need to unplug the hub and then establish the HomeKit connection?.
