Happy Easter everyone!
I recently decided to switch up my outdoor lighting for the holiday, and I wanted to share my experience and some tips I picked up along the way.
As some of you might know, I’ve been using a smart hub for quite a while now, and it’s been mostly trouble-free. But a few weeks ago, things started acting up. I noticed some red error logs, which were a bit concerning. After a quick reset, everything seemed to go back to normal, but I still wanted to understand what was going on.
I started checking the logs more regularly and noticed that most of them were now white ‘info’ tags with some blue ‘debug’ scattered throughout. I’m not entirely sure what a ‘normal’ log should look like, but it seems like things are functioning properly now. If anyone has insights on what healthy logs should look like, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
On another note, I’ve been experimenting with my outdoor lights for Easter. I chose some colorful LED lights that add a festive touch to my garden. It’s amazing how a little lighting can transform the mood of a space! If you’re thinking about updating your outdoor lights for the holiday, I’d recommend starting with a small section and gradually expanding. It’s a fun project that the whole family can enjoy.
Lastly, I wanted to mention a tip I came across regarding logs. If you’re ever unsure about what’s normal, comparing your logs to those of other users or reaching out to the community can be really helpful. It’s a great way to learn and troubleshoot together.
Happy Easter and happy lighting! ![]()
