Hey everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with the Ecobee Lite smart thermostat! I recently noticed it was at an all-time low on Amazon, so I decided to give it a try. One of the things I love about Ecobee is its compatibility with SmartThings. By connecting it with my Samsung temperature and motion sensors, I’ve been able to replicate some of the cool features like Follow Me and Smart Away.
I also came across this awesome GitHub app called MonitorAndSetEcobeeTemp. It averages out temperature readings from all my sensors and adjusts the Ecobee accordingly. Plus, it uses motion sensors to detect if the house is occupied, which is super handy.
