Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience and ask for advice on managing separate Alexa accounts on a single smartphone. I have Echo devices at home linked to my personal Amazon account, and at work, we’re setting up an Echo Hub connected to a business Amazon account. The challenge is controlling both sets of devices without mixing them up, especially since I use the same phone for both personal and work purposes.
I read that it’s not possible to have two separate Alexa apps on one phone, which would have been ideal. However, I found a workaround by signing out of my personal account in the Alexa app when I’m at work and signing back in when I’m at home. This method works, but it’s a bit inconvenient, especially when switching between environments frequently.
I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges and how they’ve managed to keep their personal and work Alexa devices separate. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
