Enable LAN / Local Network Access for Admins and Guests

Hello Aqara Team,

thank you for adding LAN / Local Network control to the Aqara Home app. It is a very useful feature, especially for reliability and local operation when the internet is unavailable.

Currently, LAN access is only available for the Home Owner account. We would like to kindly request that this functionality be extended to Admin and Guest users as well.

In many households, multiple users (family members) need reliable local control, not only the owner. Limiting LAN access to a single account creates usability issues and reduces the practical value of local control.

Suggested improvement:
• Allow the Owner to enable/disable LAN access per user role (Admin / Guest)
• At least support LAN access for Admin users

This would greatly improve user experience, flexibility, and adoption of Aqara’s local-first features.

@admin16 You seem to be experiencing an issue with LAN access being limited to the Home Owner account and would like it extended to Admin and Guest users. You can contact customer support for assistance. Contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Profile> Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:


This will be more efficient. If you do not have an Aqara Home account, “Please click here” to create a ticket.
