Enhancing Energy Monitoring with Energy IQ

I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the Energy IQ feature in my smart home setup. It provides a clear and concise overview of my energy consumption, which has been incredibly helpful in identifying areas where I can be more efficient. However, I believe there’s room for improvement to make it even more user-friendly and comprehensive.

One feature I would love to see is the ability to view historical data over a longer period, such as a year. This would allow me to track trends and make more informed decisions about my energy usage. Additionally, integrating manual input for electricity readings would be beneficial, especially for devices like electric radiators or air conditioners that aren’t directly connected to the system. This would provide a more holistic view of my energy consumption.

Another observation is the delay in updating the graph after adding a reading. While the feature works, a more immediate update would enhance the user experience. I’m curious if others have encountered this and if there are any workarounds or solutions.

Overall, Energy IQ is a fantastic tool, and with these enhancements, it could become even more indispensable for managing energy efficiently. I’m excited to see how this feature evolves in future updates!
