I’ve been exploring ways to enhance my home security using Govee devices and motion sensors. One of my favorite automations involves using my Eufy security camera to detect motion and trigger my Govee deck lights and garden lights to turn red. This setup not only alerts me to any activity but also acts as a deterrent to potential intruders.
Another cool automation I’ve implemented is for my grandmother’s smart lock. Whenever the lock is unlocked or locked, her Govee lights flash a specific color, giving her peace of mind and confidence, especially at her age. This feature has been a huge comfort for her and a great way to integrate technology into her daily life without overwhelming her.
