I’ve been exploring ways to securely access my HomeAssistant instance remotely, and Tailscale has caught my attention. While I’ve managed to set it up on both my dedicated PC and mobile phone, I’m a bit puzzled about the best configuration for security. The options of ‘subnet routes’ and ‘exit node’ are a bit confusing, especially since I don’t want to expose a large portion of my home network. I’ve tried the preset addresses, but they don’t seem to work consistently. Has anyone successfully navigated these settings? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have for ensuring a secure yet functional setup.
