Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my excitement about the Wyze Cam V3 Pro and a feature enhancement I’ve been hoping for. The camera itself is fantastic—crisp video, reliable performance, and the integration with my smart home setup has been seamless. However, I’ve noticed that the Recent Events section could use a little tweak to match the functionality I’ve come to love with the Video Doorbell V2.
Currently, when I check Recent Events on the V3 Pro, it’s a great way to keep track of activity around my home. But I find myself wishing for the ability to tap on an event and then quickly jump to the corresponding SD card recording, just like it works on the Video Doorbell. This feature would be a huge time-saver, especially when I want to review specific incidents without having to sift through all the footage manually.
I can see how this improvement would greatly enhance the user experience, making it even easier to monitor and respond to events. It would also align the V3 Pro more closely with other top-tier devices in the Wyze lineup, reinforcing its position as a standout product.
