Hey Wyze community! I wanted to share an idea that could really enhance the security features of the Wyze Cam Pan. I’ve been using my Wyze Cam for a while now, and it’s been fantastic for keeping an eye on things around the house. However, I recently realized that the 12-second cloud storage limit might not be enough in certain situations. For instance, if someone were to break into my home, I’d want as much footage as possible to help with any investigations. That’s why I think it would be amazing if Wyze allowed users to automatically upload clips from the micro SD card to a cloud service of their choice, like Dropbox or Google Drive. This feature would provide an extra layer of security by ensuring that even if the camera or its SD card is damaged or stolen, the footage isn’t lost. Plus, it would give users peace of mind knowing their important recordings are safely backed up. I remember using IFTTT with a previous camera to achieve something similar, but having this built-in directly through Wyze would be so much more seamless and user-friendly. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this idea and whether others would find it useful as well!
