After experimenting with various smart home setups, I’ve recently taken an interest in automating my vertical blinds. They’re a stylish addition to my living room, but integrating them into my smart ecosystem has been a bit of a challenge. I came across some fantastic solutions in the community, and I wanted to share my journey and experiences.
First, I explored the options for controlling vertical blinds. Unlike traditional horizontal blinds, vertical ones require a different approach, especially when it comes to automation. One thing I’d love to see in future updates is more support for vertical blinds in smart home apps. While the current solutions are effective, having native integration would streamline the process for others.
