Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with integrating Hue bulbs directly into my SmartThings setup. While this approach offers blazing-fast response times through Zigbee bindings, I encountered a limitation: losing access to the Hue app’s animations like the candle effect. After some research, I discovered that updating the Hue bridge firmware and using Edge Drivers can help expose these features within SmartThings. This setup now allows me to enjoy both the speed of Zigbee and the ambiance of Hue’s animations. It’s a win-win situation!
