Enhancing the 'Sun Match' Feature for a Seamless Lighting Experience

As a homeowner who values both functionality and aesthetics, I recently discovered the ‘Sun Match’ feature on my 1100 lumen color bulbs, and it has been a game-changer for my lighting setup. The ability to automatically adjust color temperature throughout the day creates a natural and comfortable ambiance, especially when paired with my 100W equivalent daylight spectrum LED bulb. However, I have a suggestion that could further enhance this feature.

Currently, the ‘Sun Match’ mode adjusts the color temperature based on the time of day, which is fantastic. But I envision a scenario where, after a power outage, the bulbs not only resume their previous state but also check the current time and adjust the color temperature accordingly. This would ensure a seamless transition back to the optimal lighting conditions, regardless of when the power is restored.

I use these bulbs in a 3-light fixture controlled by a wall switch, which is where the Power Loss Recovery feature comes into play. While it’s helpful to have the lights turn back on, remembering the ‘Sun Match’ setting would take this feature to the next level. It would eliminate the need for manual adjustments and provide a more integrated smart home experience.

I would love to hear others’ thoughts on this idea. Have you encountered similar situations or have suggestions on how this feature could be improved? Let’s collaborate to make our smart homes even smarter!
