I’ve recently set up my Wyze Home Monitoring system, and I must say, it’s been a significant upgrade from my old sensor setup. The integration with my existing smart home ecosystem has been seamless, and the app’s interface is user-friendly. However, as I’ve started using it more extensively, I’ve noticed a few areas where improvements could really enhance the experience.
One feature that’s missing is the ability to trigger sirens across multiple Wyze Cam v3 units simultaneously. Currently, only the siren from the Sense Hub activates during an alarm, which limits the system’s effectiveness in larger homes or apartments. I’d love to see an option to pair cameras so that all sirens sound together, creating a more robust deterrent.
Another area for improvement is multi-user support with PIN codes. My household includes multiple people, and having individual PINs would add an extra layer of security and convenience. Additionally, adjustable volume levels for the hub’s siren would be fantastic. The current volume is too loud for my apartment, and it alerts my neighbors every time the alarm goes off.
I’d also appreciate a portable fob with basic functions like ARM, DISARM, and PANIC. This would be especially useful for my elderly relatives who might find a key fob easier to use. Lastly, a panic button that activates only the local sirens without involving third-party services would add an extra layer of control and privacy.
I’d love to hear from the community—what features would you like to see in Wyze Home Monitoring? Have you found any workarounds or innovative solutions to similar issues? Let’s collaborate to make this system even better!
