Hi everyone! I’ve been really enjoying my Yamaha RX-S601D for its excellent sound quality and built-in FM/DAB+ radio capabilities. However, I’ve noticed that the current OpenHAB2 binding for the Yamaha receiver doesn’t support changing the FM or DAB+ radio stations directly. This is something I’d really like to see added to enhance my home automation experience.
After taking a closer look at the binding code, it seems that implementing this feature isn’t too complicated. It would involve adding a new channel similar to the existing NetRadio channel but tailored for FM and DAB+ stations. I’m considering creating a pull request to contribute this feature myself.
Before diving into the code, I wanted to check if anyone else is working on this or if there are any potential issues I should be aware of. Additionally, I’d love to hear if others would find this feature useful. Your feedback would be invaluable!
