Excited About Pixel Display, Looking for Tips

I absolutely love the Pixel Display! It’s become my favorite light in just a week. The square design is perfect for my setup, and I can’t wait to get the larger rectangular ones. However, I’ve noticed a few things that I’d love to see improved.

First, the green light on the top power button is a bit distracting at night. I wish there was an option to program it to only turn on during certain hours, similar to how some other devices handle their lights. It would be great if we could customize this to match our home’s aesthetic better.

I’ve also had some issues with sharing and applying clock settings. Sometimes, when I try to apply a clock I’ve shared from the main DIY screen, a different clock face appears instead. It works fine if I edit and apply from the DIY edit screen, but it’s inconsistent otherwise. I’d love to see this fixed so that sharing and applying clocks are more reliable.

Another thing I’d like to see is more frequent updates for the weather display. Currently, it only updates every two hours, which isn’t ideal since the weather can change so quickly. Financial information updates every five minutes, which seems more reasonable for that type of data. Swapping these update intervals would make the weather feature more useful for me.

Lastly, I’d love to see more shapes and styles for DIY clock displays. Vertical clocks or square layouts with separate hour and minute displays would be fantastic additions. It would allow for more versatile designs, especially in areas where horizontal space is limited.

Overall, I’m really happy with the Pixel Display, and I’m excited to see how it evolves with future updates. If anyone has tips or workarounds for these issues, I’d love to hear them!
