I’ve been really looking forward to the release of the new Aqara B1 Curtain Controller on March 15th! It’s such a great addition to the Aqara lineup, and I’m thrilled to see the improvements they’ve made. The fact that it can be powered by mains or battery is a huge plus for me, especially since I want to install it in a spot where running wires might be a bit tricky.
I’ve been using the current model for a while now, and while it works well, the new features like Intelligent Temperature Protection and Short Circuit Protection make me feel more confident about its reliability. Plus, the sleek design is a nice upgrade from the previous version.
I’m also excited about its compatibility with both HomeKit and Xiaomi’s AI speakers. It’s great to have flexibility depending on what system I’m using. I can’t wait to see how it integrates with my existing setup!
If anyone has already had a chance to try it out, I’d love to hear your thoughts or any tips you might have. Fingers crossed it lives up to the hype!
