Hey everyone! I just came across an exciting new development for the Aqara T1M Ceiling Light, and I wanted to share it with the community. A user has created a new Zigbee2MQTT converter that adds support for the RGB ring light segment control and dynamic effects. This sounds like a fantastic addition for those looking to enhance their lighting setup!
The converter allows each of the 26 ring light segments to be individually colored in static mode, and there are six dynamic effects available. Each effect can have up to 8 definable color slots, with adjustable brightness and speed. This level of customization opens up a lot of creative possibilities for automations and scene settings within Home Assistant.
The developer has shared the converter on GitHub, and they’re inviting users with a T1M Ceiling Light to test it out. I’m really curious to see how this performs in different setups. If you’re using the T1M with Zigbee2MQTT, I’d love to hear about your experiences or any feedback you have after testing!
Looking forward to seeing how this feature can be integrated into various home automation projects. Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other make the most of this new tool!
