Hey everyone! I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the progress I’ve made in my smart home setup lately, and I wanted to share some exciting updates and tips that might inspire others. 
First off, I’ve been working on a DIY oil tank monitoring system, and I’m super proud of how it turned out! Using a float switch, some copper pipe, and a Z-Wave contact sensor, I was able to create an affordable and reliable solution. The best part? It sends me an SMS when the tank reaches 1/4, so I never run out of heating oil. Easy peasy! 
Another project I’m really excited about is setting up the new Govee Thermo-Hygrometer 2s Lite. It’s been a game-changer for monitoring the environment in my home brewery. The precision readings and remote notifications are invaluable, and the sleek design fits perfectly with my setup. Plus, the battery life is amazing—definitely a must-have for any homebrewer or gardener! 
On the software side, I’ve been experimenting with automations to make my life even easier. For instance, I created a sensor to monitor when new Home Assistant versions are released. It’s such a handy way to stay updated without constantly checking the forums. Plus, it sends me a notification so I can update my system promptly. Automation at its finest! 
I also wanted to give a huge shoutout to the Govee community for their awesome holiday-themed lights. Their LED strips and bulbs really bring the festive spirit to my home. Whether it’s a cozy winter scene or a vibrant Halloween display, there’s something for everyone. Thanks for the inspiration!
