Hi everyone! I just came across Wyze being featured prominently in a Home Depot ad, and it really got me excited about the possibilities of integrating various smart home devices. 
I wanted to share my recent journey with setting up a smart home system, which has been both challenging and rewarding. A few weeks ago, I decided to upgrade my home security by adding Wyze cameras and Shelly motion sensors. The setup process was smooth, but I did encounter a hiccup with the Shelly Motion sensor not turning off after detecting motion. After some research and reaching out to the community, I realized it was a timing issue with the blind time setting. Adjusting it resolved the problem, and now it works like a charm! 
Another highlight was integrating my Sonoff Zigbee gateway with Tasmota firmware. Initially, I faced issues with the wrong firmware, but after some troubleshooting, I managed to flash the correct one and got my Zigbee devices up and running. It’s amazing how these devices communicate seamlessly now. 
I’ve also been exploring automations with Home Assistant, particularly with door sensors. Customizing dashboards to display statuses clearly has made monitoring my home much easier. For instance, setting up a rule to arm my security system with an Iris Keyfob has added an extra layer of convenience and security. 
Seeing how everything works together is truly inspiring. It’s incredible how these devices enhance our daily lives, from automating lights to ensuring our home is secure. I’m excited to continue this journey and discover even more possibilities with smart home technology.
