I’m already counting down the days until the next one! It truly feels like a community event, and it’s amazing to see how much they’ve grown while still maintaining that personal touch.
On a different note, I wanted to share something that might be helpful for others diving into Node-RED with Hubitat. I stumbled upon a fantastic subflow that checks the status of Hubitat commands and retries them if they fail. It’s been a lifesaver for ensuring my smart devices work seamlessly, especially with those GE/Jasco Motion Dimmer/Switch devices. The subflow supports a variety of commands like on, off, setLevel, lock, unlock, and even some custom ones for specific devices. Plus, it’s adjustable for delays, which is super handy for devices that need a bit more time to update their attributes.
