I’ve been diving into the world of Lutron Caseta and must say, it’s been quite a journey! My wife absolutely loves the sleek design of the Lutron dimmers and the Claro wall plates—they’ve really transformed the aesthetic of our home. Plus, automating some of her lighting preferences has been a game-changer, especially with the kitchen lights now being programmable.
As I continue setting up, I’m realizing that I might hit the 50-device limit pretty soon. To manage this, I’m considering splitting into two Lutron Caseta hubs—one for the main floor and another for the basement. From what I’ve read, I’d need to set up the second hub with a different email address, which seems manageable.
But before I dive in, I want to make sure I’m not overlooking anything. Are there any other potential issues or gotchas I should be aware of? Any tips on making this transition as smooth as possible?
