Experiencing Laser Interference with Blink Outdoor Cameras

I’ve recently encountered an issue with my Blink outdoor cameras that I wanted to share and seek advice on. It seems that when I activate the night vision feature, the cameras occasionally get blinded by laser interference. This is particularly frustrating as it disrupts the night monitoring, which is crucial for security purposes.

I’ve been using Blink cameras for about a year now, and they’ve generally performed well. The night vision feature has been a lifesaver, providing clear footage even in low-light conditions. However, this laser interference issue has been a bit of a nuisance. I’ve noticed that it happens sporadically, sometimes when I least expect it, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact cause.

I’ve tried a few things to mitigate the problem. First, I adjusted the camera angles to see if that would help reduce the interference. While this did help in some cases, it wasn’t a consistent solution. I also looked into whether there are any specific lenses or optical coatings that could help minimize the effect, but I haven’t found a definitive answer yet.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has experienced similar issues and how they resolved them. Have you found any effective solutions or workarounds? Any recommendations on lenses or settings adjustments would be greatly appreciated. Let’s discuss this further and find a way to enhance the reliability of our night vision monitoring!
