Happy Holidays! I wanted to share some of my favorite Christmas traditions and how I incorporate smart lighting into them. This year, I decided to add some Govee lights to my home to create a magical atmosphere. 
One of my favorite traditions is decorating the house with lights. With Govee, I can easily control the colors and effects from my phone, which makes it so much fun! I even created a custom scene that changes colors to match different parts of our holiday playlist. 
Another tradition we have is watching the Polar Express together as a family. It’s always a cozy night with warm drinks and the lights set to a soft, warm white. This year, I added a timer to the lights so they dim slightly during the movie, creating the perfect ambiance. 
For those of you who might be facing technical challenges, I wanted to share a quick tip: if you’re having trouble with Matter devices in Home Assistant, make sure to check the integration settings and verify that all devices are properly paired. Sometimes a simple restart or re-pairing can solve the issue!
