I’ve been diving into the world of smart home automation with OpenHAB 2.0, and it’s been an exciting journey! However, I’ve encountered a bit of a challenge with the OneWire binding. It seems to only support predefined sensor combinations, like temperature and humidity or temperature and light. But I have a sensor that measures temperature, humidity, and light all in one, and another that only has temperature and light. I tried configuring the second one as MS-TL, but the light values didn’t show up as expected. I remember in OpenHAB 1, I could manually specify the sensor paths in the items, but that doesn’t seem possible in 2.0. I’ve gone through all the device types, but only the Multisensor type is recognized. Does anyone know if there’s a way to manually define these sensors or if this feature is planned for future releases? It would be fantastic to have more flexibility in configuring these devices. I’m really enjoying the possibilities with OpenHAB, and I’m hopeful that this issue can be resolved or worked around somehow. Looking forward to hearing from the community!
