My goal is to adjust the speed of a water pump based on outlet pressure, and while I know PID controllers are the way to go, I’m stuck on the auto-tuning aspect.
I’ve spent hours searching through the project libraries, but I can’t seem to find any built-in auto-tuning functionality. Manually tweaking the PID parameters on-site sounds like a nightmare—it would be so time-consuming and inefficient. I’m hoping there’s a workaround or a creative way to implement auto-tuning using the PLC.
Has anyone here successfully implemented auto-tuning for PID controllers in Ecostruxure Machine Expert M241? Any tips, tricks, or resources you can share would be incredibly helpful. I’m eager to learn from your experiences and see if we can crack this together!
