Exploring Energy Efficiency with Smart Plugs

Hi everyone! I’ve been really curious about how much energy my smart devices consume, especially when they’re not in use. I came across an interesting observation with my Govee smart plug, which only uses 0.57 watts when nothing’s connected. That’s super low compared to some other plugs I’ve heard about! It makes me think about how much energy we could save just by choosing the right devices.

I’d love to hear from others who’ve done similar tests. What kind of smart plugs do you use, and have you noticed any significant differences in their energy consumption? Maybe we can compile some data or tips for those looking to minimize their energy usage without compromising on convenience.

On a lighter note, I also stumbled upon this awesome rainbow light collection someone shared. It’s such a fun way to add some color and personality to any room! I’m thinking of trying something similar with my own setup. Have any of you experimented with colorful lighting, and if so, what’s your favorite combination or setup?

Let’s keep the conversation going! Whether it’s about energy efficiency, creative lighting ideas, or just sharing your smart home journey, I’m all ears.
