I recently noticed an intriguing feature on my Google Pixel Tablet running the Google Home App (Preview). The Event History section has started displaying a wealth of detailed information, such as ‘Red MiniVan drove past the street’ or ‘Guy pushing lawn mower.’ This level of granularity is fascinating and adds a new layer of awareness to my smart home setup. However, I’ve observed that this enhanced detail isn’t consistent across all my devices. My smartphone and other tablets aren’t showing the same level of specifics, which is a bit puzzling.
I’d love to understand why this discrepancy exists. Is it due to hardware limitations, software versions, or perhaps some setting I’ve overlooked? It would be fantastic if this feature could be rolled out uniformly across all devices, as I find the added context incredibly useful for monitoring my surroundings.
