Exploring Govee AI Box and RGB Lighting Integration

I’ve been absolutely thrilled with my recent addition of the Govee AI Sync Box in my master bedroom! :star2: It’s transformed the way I enjoy my TV watching experience by adding a whole new layer of dynamic lighting. The box replaced my old, ultra-bright TV backlight, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The extra ambiance it brings is simply amazing! :sparkles:

One thing I’m curious about is whether others have tried integrating different types of RGB strips with their setups. I’ve heard about RGBWW and RGBIC strips, but I’m not entirely sure how they compare in terms of color accuracy and versatility. For instance, can an RGBIC strip replicate the white tones of an RGBWW strip? I’d love to hear from anyone who has experimented with these or has any tips on achieving the best white lighting effects.

Another area I’m exploring is the use of sensors and automation. I recently acquired a Govee hygrometer and thermostat combo, and I’m eager to see how I can integrate it with my smart home system. I’m thinking about setting up a system where the bathroom fan automatically turns on when humidity levels exceed a certain threshold. However, I’m not entirely sure how to set this up without IFTTT or other third-party services. Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Lastly, I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated multiple brands of smart devices. I’m currently using a mix of Govee, Philips, and some third-party sensors, and I’m curious about how others manage compatibility and ensure seamless operation across all devices. Are there any specific apps, hubs, or settings that make this easier?

Looking forward to hearing from the community and learning more about these exciting possibilities! :rocket:
