Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent discovery of integrating Govee smart lights with Razer Chroma RGB! It’s been a fantastic way to enhance my gaming setup and home automation. If you’re into customizable lighting, this might just be your next project.
I stumbled upon this feature when I was exploring Govee’s desktop app. It turns out that certain Govee lights, like the Glide Hexa Light Panels and RGBIC LED Strip Lights, are compatible with Razer Chroma. This means you can sync your lights with your favorite games or apps through Razer Synapse 3. It’s pretty cool to see my lights change colors in real-time while playing games!
How I Set It Up:
- Download the Apps: I started by installing Razer Synapse 3 and the Govee Desktop App.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensuring both my phone and Govee lights were on the same network was crucial. I also connected to the router’s 2.4GHz channel for better stability.
- Enable Razer Chroma Control: In the Govee app, I selected my compatible light and enabled Razer Chroma.
- Test It Out: I opened a Chroma-compatible game and was amazed to see the lights sync perfectly with the in-game action!
This integration has added a new layer of immersion to my gaming experience. Plus, it’s been a fun way to experiment with different lighting effects around my home.
If you haven’t tried this yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot! It’s a great way to combine smart lighting with gaming. Let me know if you have any questions or if you’ve tried something similar. Happy experimenting! ![]()
