Hi everyone, I’m really excited to share my recent experience with the Govee Galaxy Projector Pro! It’s amazing how this device brings a cinematic feel to my home. The 38 scene modes and 37 white noises options are perfect for creating the right ambiance. I’ve been using it with Alexa and Google Assistant, and the integration is seamless. The price drop to 139,99€ makes it an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home entertainment setup. A big shoutout to the Govee team for this fantastic product! ![]()

However, I’m facing some challenges with my smart home setup that I’d love to get some advice on. I’ve been trying to create a virtual button for my irrigation system using Sonoff water valves. The idea is to have them open sequentially since my water pressure isn’t strong enough to run them all at once. I’ve set up a helper and wrote the automation in YAML, but when I press the virtual button on my dashboard, nothing happens. Strangely, when I manually run the actions in the automation, it works perfectly. I’m not sure where the disconnect is happening. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! ![]()

Another issue I’m dealing with is my LED strip controlled by an ESP Home CO2 sensor. Every day at 5:00 AM, the LEDs turn off even though there’s no configuration set for that time. I do turn off my Wi-Fi at night and reactivate it at 5:00 AM, but I can’t figure out why the LEDs are turning off after the Wi-Fi comes back on. The logbook shows the turning off event, but I’m stuck on identifying the root cause. If anyone has encountered something similar or has any ideas, I’d be really thankful! ![]()

Lastly, I’ve noticed an interesting behavior with my Google Home setup. When my partner or I ask Google to play music, it works perfectly using my Spotify account. But when my 10-year-old nephew says, “Google, play music,” it still uses my Spotify account instead of his. It’s a bit puzzling, and I’d love to understand why this happens and if there’s a way to customize it differently. ![]()
