Exploring Govee Scene Personalization and eISY Integration

Hey everyone! I wanted to share my recent experiences with Govee’s Scene Personalization feature and how it’s transformed my smart home setup. :star2:

First off, I stumbled upon this amazing feature while tweaking my Outdoor Permanent Pros lights. It’s like magic—being able to control each light individually within a scene is a game-changer! @GOVEE, this is exactly what I’ve been waiting for. I can’t wait to dive deeper into the Beta Co-Creation for the Version 7.1 Update! :rocket:

On another note, I’ve been experimenting with integrating my eISY system with Home Assistant using MQTT. It’s been a steep learning curve, but the results are incredible. I can now bridge the gap between eISY and HA seamlessly, which has opened up endless possibilities for automation. For instance, I’ve set up a system where my Reolink doorbell triggers specific scenes in eISY. It’s all about finding the right text formatting for sensors to show up as nodes, though. A bit of reverse engineering was needed, but it’s totally worth it! :brain:

I also wanted to touch on something that’s been a lifesaver for me: using MQTT to handle device statuses. If you’re struggling with devices not responding, turning off Validation and turning on Compatibility in eISY has been my go-to fix. It’s fascinating how a simple tweak can bring everything back online. :hammer_and_wrench:

Lastly, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve successfully implemented Govee’s Scene Personalization across multiple rooms. It’s not just about aesthetics; it’s about creating a personalized experience that adapts to my daily routine. From waking up to a gradual light increase to winding down with a soft ambiance, it’s made my home smarter and more comfortable. :house_with_garden:

If anyone has tips or tricks for optimizing MQTT configurations or enhancing scene personalization, I’d love to hear them! Let’s keep the creativity flowing! :art:

Cheers to all the innovators out there making our smart homes even smarter! :star2:
