First off, I’ve been absolutely thrilled with Govee’s new points feature! It’s such a great way to track progress and stay motivated. I love seeing how my usage contributes to earning points, and it’s been a fun way to engage with their ecosystem. Huge shoutout to Govee for this awesome addition! 
However, I’ve also been experimenting with automations using IFTTT and Homey, and I’ve hit a bit of a snag. I’ve set up several routines, like turning on my lights when I leave the house or adjusting the thermostat based on the weather. But here’s the thing—while most of these automations work seamlessly, there’s one that’s been giving me a bit of trouble. Specifically, I’m trying to get my Govee lights to change colors based on a sensor input, and it’s been inconsistent. Sometimes it works perfectly, and other times there’s a delay of several hours. It’s frustrating because it’s such a cool idea, but the inconsistency makes it unreliable for daily use.
I’ve reached out to the community and tried troubleshooting on my own, but I’m still not quite there. I’m wondering if others have experienced similar issues and if there are any workarounds or tips they could share. I’m also curious if anyone has successfully integrated Govee devices with other platforms or apps in a way that avoids these hiccups.
On a more positive note, I’ve been really impressed with how Govee’s app has evolved. The interface is clean, intuitive, and it’s easy to manage all my devices from one place. I’ve also appreciated the customer support I’ve received so far—they’ve been responsive and helpful.
