Hi everyone! I’m really excited to share my thoughts on Govee’s upcoming product, the Skyline Light, which can be installed between walls or on the ground. The idea of having customizable lighting that blends seamlessly with my home’s aesthetics is amazing! I’m curious to know what others think about the hardware color options and whether it’ll be paintable to match different wall colors. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how you’d use this in your smart home setups!
On another note, I wanted to highlight the incredible work done by Joshua Lyon at SharpTools. A recent change on the SmartThings platform broke some functionalities in SharpTools Rules, specifically the ’stays’ functions. Josh quickly stepped in to fix this by adjusting how timestamps are handled. His dedication to ensuring customers have a smooth experience is truly commendable. If you haven’t tried SharpTools yet, it’s worth exploring for its ability to bridge gaps in SmartThings functionality.
I’m also in the process of setting up some new lights in my home. I recently added Govee Smart LED Bulbs and they’ve been performing exceptionally well. The upgraded chip model H6008 has made a noticeable difference in brightness and color accuracy. I’d love to hear if anyone else has had a chance to test these bulbs and their experiences with them!
For those looking to enhance their TV and countertop lighting, I’ve been researching light strips that can be customized to fit specific spaces. While there are affordable options available, I’d recommend investing in higher-quality strips that offer better durability and consistent performance. If anyone has tips on finding reliable, customizable options, I’d love to hear about them!
Lastly, I’m curious to know how others handle device notifications on their Amazon Echo devices. I’ve noticed that notifications sometimes get lost in the shuffle, and I’d love to find a way to make them more persistent, similar to weather alerts that stay visible until acknowledged. Any insights or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
