I recently came across the new ‘Messdaten’ feature in the Homematic IP App and I must say, it’s a fascinating addition! Being able to visualize wind and temperature data over time in a 2D diagram is quite impressive. However, I’ve noticed that the rain data doesn’t quite meet my expectations. Instead of the expected time-based breakdown, I’m getting these odd bar charts that don’t seem particularly useful. I was really hoping to see the rainfall amount broken down by day, week, month, or even year.
This made me wonder if there’s a way to tweak the settings or perhaps a workaround to achieve this. Maybe there’s an undocumented feature or a configuration tip that I’m missing? I’d love to hear from anyone who’s successfully managed to get detailed rainfall statistics or has found a creative solution to this.
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with integrating multiple smart devices from different brands into one cohesive system. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but the satisfaction of seeing everything work seamlessly is truly rewarding. If anyone has tips or success stories on multi-brand integrations, I’d be happy to share and learn more!
