I’ve been using IFTTT to automate a few routines around my home, and while it’s been mostly smooth, I’ve noticed some inconsistencies when it comes to mode-based triggers. For instance, I set up a routine to turn off the lights when I leave the house, but sometimes it doesn’t activate even when I’m in the ‘Away’ mode.
Does anyone else experience similar behavior? I’d love to hear if there are specific scenarios where the mode restrictions are working as intended or if there are workarounds others have discovered.
Additionally, I’d appreciate any tips on troubleshooting these issues. I’ve tried reviewing the IFTTT app and the community forums, but I’m still not entirely clear on how to ensure consistent behavior across different modes.
