Exploring Multiple HA Instances on Android

Hey everyone, I’m curious about something that might be a bit of a rehash, but I’m hoping for some fresh insights. I know that the iOS companion app for Home Assistant (HA) can handle multiple instances, and my wife swears by it on her phone. However, as an Android user, I’ve noticed that the companion app doesn’t offer the same flexibility. Currently, I manage several HA instances, especially for vacation rentals, and this limitation is a major pain point for me.

Right now, my workaround is to either log out of my main HA and into the target one or keep a browser tab open on my phone. It’s functional, but definitely not ideal. I’m wondering if anyone else has found a better solution or if there are any hidden features or workarounds that I’m missing. Maybe there’s a way to streamline switching between instances without all the hassle?

I’m also curious if the HA community has any plans to enhance the Android companion app to match the iOS functionality. It would be amazing to have a seamless experience across all platforms. If anyone has any tips, tricks, or even third-party solutions they’ve tried, I’d love to hear about them! Let’s brainstorm together and see if we can find a more efficient way to manage multiple HA instances on Android. Thanks in advance for your insights!
