I’ve been really curious about integrating my Philips Hue lights with Samsung SmartThings ever since I heard about the upcoming upgrade. After doing some research, I decided to give it a try and set up my Hue lights through the SmartThings app. The integration process was surprisingly smooth, and I was able to control my lights with voice commands right away!
One thing I noticed is that while basic integration works seamlessly across devices, the advanced sync feature mentioned in the announcement seems to be Galaxy-specific. I’m not using a Galaxy phone, but I’m still happy with the functionality I’ve got.
