I’ve been really excited about the new Philips Hue outdoor LightStrip that was recently announced! It’s completely weatherproof and seems perfect for my backyard setup. While I’m waiting for it to be released in my region, I’ve been experimenting with my existing Hue devices and Matter integration. I noticed that three of my outdoor pedestal lights went missing after adding the Hue bridge through Matter. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m hesitant to re-add the bridge using the pairing code, but I’m curious if it’s safe to try.
On another note, I came across a helpful solution for the Netatmo binding issue where devices weren’t updating after a restart. Unchecking the “Access Healthy Home Coach” option in PaperUI fixed the problem for me. It’s such a simple fix that I wish I had known earlier!
I also wanted to share a tip for controlling Tesla vehicles from SmartThings. I’ve been using ActionTiles to turn on my car’s climate control and charge it remotely. It’s been a game-changer for me, especially during colder months. I hope this helps anyone else looking to integrate their Tesla into their smart home setup.
If anyone has tips for troubleshooting Matter device integration or has successfully paired the new Hue outdoor devices, I’d love to hear about your experiences!
