I’ve recently been diving into the world of smart lighting, and I must say, the journey has been both exciting and enlightening. A few years back, I installed Rako lighting in my home, and while the initial setup was quite an investment, it’s proven to be well worth it. The ability to control my lights over the internet and set basic on/off timers has been a game-changer, especially for security purposes. However, the recent introduction of Rako’s Cloud Gateway has opened up a whole new realm of possibilities.
I’m thrilled to see that Rako is now working on integrating with IFTTT, which could potentially allow me to fully immerse my lighting system into my existing smart home ecosystem. I’m particularly interested in how this might work with the Hubitat platform. Has anyone here successfully integrated Rako with Hubitat? I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have for making this integration seamless.
On another note, I’ve also been experimenting with Flow Pro light bars. They’ve added a beautiful touch to my home, but I’ve encountered a minor hiccup. Whenever I use the new commands feature to control my lights, they consistently default to 35% brightness. Even when I set them to 100% via a custom command, they still drop down to 35%. The only workaround I’ve found so far is manually adjusting the brightness each time. Has anyone else faced this issue, or do you have any insights on how to resolve it?
Overall, I’m incredibly impressed with the potential these systems hold. The convenience and customization they offer are unparalleled, and I’m eager to continue exploring how to maximize their capabilities in my smart home setup. If anyone has tips, tricks, or success stories to share, I’d be more than happy to listen and learn!
