Hi everyone, I’ve been really impressed with Homey and how it’s transformed my smart home setup. My girlfriend recently got one, and she’s absolutely thrilled with its capabilities. However, there’s one thing that’s been on our minds—Samsung Smart TV integration. I’ve noticed that there isn’t an official app for Homey, which is a bit puzzling given Samsung’s prominence in the smart TV market.
I came across this old app by Casper Boone, but it seems it’s no longer maintained. I’m curious if anyone has managed to install it on the latest stable version of Homey somehow. I’d love to hear if there are any workarounds or alternative solutions for integrating Samsung Smart TVs with Homey. Maybe there’s a different approach or a third-party app that could bridge the gap?
I’ve tried reaching out to the developer, but I’m not sure if there’s any progress on maintaining the app. It would be fantastic if someone could shed some light on this or share their experiences. I’m really hoping there’s a way to make this work, as it would complete our smart home ecosystem perfectly!
