I’ve been thinking a lot about optimizing my smart AC system for better energy efficiency and comfort. After reading through some posts, I came across an interesting suggestion that really resonated with me. The idea is to have the AC turn on based on temperature thresholds rather than just scheduled time blocks.
Here’s what I envision: If the room temperature rises above a certain point, say 22°C, the AC kicks in to cool things down. Once it reaches the desired temperature, it turns off. Similarly, if it gets too cold, it could switch to heating mode. This would not only save energy but also reduce the annoying fan noise when it’s not needed.
I’d love to hear if anyone has implemented something like this or has tips on how to set it up. Maybe through smart routines or custom scripts? I’m also curious if this feature is something manufacturers could consider adding in future updates. Let me know your thoughts!
