I’ve been diving into the world of smart curtains lately and I must say, it’s been an exciting journey! After waiting patiently for my new set to arrive, I decided to experiment with the DIY mode to see what kind of effects I could create. While I heard some users had issues with color accuracy and glitches, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my experience was smooth.
I spent some time testing different colors on my hardwood floor—blues, yellows, greens, and even some neon shades. The only thing I noticed was that yellow came out more like a gold hue, which I think might be due to my floor’s color. The finger sketch feature was a hit too! I could blend colors seamlessly, which made creating unique patterns a breeze.
One thing I did notice was that when uploading GIFs, some were pixelated, especially those with detailed characters. I suspect it has to do with the original size of the GIF. Still, it’s a minor quibble compared to the overall fun experience.
I also played around with the sensitivity feature. It was impressive how well it picked up sounds from different angles—even with background noise from the dryer and my daughter’s FaceTime call. This makes me confident it’ll work well in my home environment.
Overall, I’m thrilled with how customizable these curtains are. It’s opened up a whole new way to personalize my space. If you’re thinking about getting into smart curtains, I’d say go for it—you won’t be disappointed!
