As someone who loves both technology and convenience, I’ve been on the lookout for ways to integrate my Google WearOS smartwatch into my smart home ecosystem. That’s why I was thrilled to discover that I could now control my Homey devices directly from my wrist thanks to a custom app I created. **This integration has completely transformed how I interact with my smart home!**The functionality, while limited by the nature of smartwatches, is surprisingly effective. I can now toggle my favorite devices on and off, play or pause media, and even trigger button presses—all from my wrist. The setup was straightforward: I just needed to log in once via my phone to my Athom Homey account, and the app synced my favorite devices seamlessly. The only minor hiccup I encountered was a slight delay in updating device statuses, but it’s a small price to pay for such convenience.Looking ahead, I’m excited to explore further integrations, such as starting favorite flows directly from my watch.
